How Would Americans Feel?
How would Americans feel if countries who do not understand our problems insert themselves as our moral superiors? As if they understand our problems better than we do? As if we are children in need of their guidance, even while their own country is in dire straights?
How would Americans feel if foreign countries sent Ambassadors and
representatives who took sides in struggles they do not understand -- that they arrogantly think they understand -- to support their bests interests, at the expense of the United States?
How would Americans feel if foreign countries constantly inserted themselves into our internal affairs? Affairs that they pretend to understand, as if everything is Black and White. Police and Oppressed. Good and Evil.
And their interference comes not just through press release. They actually send people to places like Ferguson, Missouri, to insert themselves. How would we react?
Everything looks so clear from a distance, doesn't it? That bad military coup in Thailand -- the coup that ended serious violence. The US supports coups around the world, and has for generations. The US supports Saudi Arabia -- our so-called leaders fawn over Saudi Arabia and its vast wealth that it spreads liberally to buy power.
How would Americans feel if Thailand had its Ambassador running around supporting forces that call for violence in America? Our previous Ambassador to Thailand, Kristie Kenney, did just that.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of nearly all the 9/11 attackers. We responded to 9/11 by attacking Iraq, and the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
As of last week, the White House no longer considers the Taliban to be a terrorist organization, despite that Taliban murdered Americans last week.
How would Americans feel if Canada or Germany took the side of the strong-armed robber who attacked a policeman in Ferguson, Missouri, and they took that side only because the thug was black, while pretending they understand American issues?
How would Americans feel if the United Kingdom donated $25 million per year for a legal defense fund for any minority in America who claims to have been abused by the police? We would be on the verge of conflict with our old time pal the UK if they dared such meddling. Right?
We, the USA, have not offered such a defense fund in Thailand, but we have done something even bigger. The USA is providing political cover to terrorists who have caused at least two thousand casualties in Thailand.
Think about it. Now is the time to stop meddling in Thailand.
The USA should clean up its own house before forcing the vacuum on neighbors:

เราชาวอเมริกันจะรู้สึกอย่างไร หากประเทศไทย มีเอกอัครราชทูตเดินทางไปทั่ว เพื่อสนับสนุนกองกำลังที่สร้าง ความรุนแรงในอเมริกา? เอกอัครราชทูต ประจำประเทศไทย คนที่แล้ว ได้ทำแบบนั้น
ในขณะที่ กลุ่มคนที่ก่อการโจมตี ในเหตุการณ์ 9/11 ส่วนใหญ่นั้นเกิดที่ ประเทศซาอุฯ เราโต้ตอบเหตุการณ์ 9/11 ด้วยการโจมตีประเทศอิรัก และ ตาลีบันที่อยู่ในอัฟกานิสถาน และในปากีสถาน
และในสัปดาห์ที่แล้วนี้เอง ที่ทำเนียบขาว พิจารณาว่า ตาลีบันนั้นไม่ใช่ องค์กรก่อการร้ายอีกต่อไป ทั้งๆที่ตาลีบัน ก็เพิ่งสังหารชาวอเมริกัน ในสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว
เราชาวอเมริกันจะรู้สึกอย่างไร หาก แคนนาดา หรือ เยอรมัน เข้าข้างโจร ที่ถืออาวุธที่ทำร้ายเจ้าหน้าที่ใน Ferguson รัฐมิซซูรี่ และ พวกเขาเข้าข้างเพียง ก็เพราะว่าพวกผู้ร้ายนั้นเป็น ชาวผิวดำ ขณะเดียวกัน ก็แสร้งว่าพวกเขาเข้าใจ เรื่องราวของอเมริกา
เราชาวอเมริกันจะรู้สึกอย่างไร หากสหราชอาณาจักร ให้เงินช่วยเหลือปีละ 25 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ให้กับกองทุนช่วยทางด้านกฎหมาย ของชนกลุ่มน้อย ที่ในอเมริกา ที่อ้างว่าถูกตำรวจทำร้าย และไม่ได้รับความเป็นธรรม? พวกเราแทบใจผิดใจ กับเพื่อนซี้ที่รักกันมายาวนาน อย่างสหราชอาณาจักรเลย หากพวกเขากล้า ที่จะยื่นมือเข้ามายุ่ง ใช่หรือไม่?
พวกเรา สหรัฐอเมริกา ไม่ควรจะสนับสนุนเงินทุน ให้กับฝ่ายต่อต้านในประเทศไทยเลย แต่ พวกเรากลับทำอะไรที่ใหญ่ มากกว่านั้น สหรัฐฯให้การคุ้มครอง ทางการเมืองต่อ พวกก่อการร้าย ผู้ที่ทำให้คนไทยบาดเจ็บ และเสียชีวิตไปแล้วอย่างน้อย 2,000 ราย
คิดดูว่า ตอนนี้ถึงเวลาแล้วที่ จะหยุดแทรกแซงประเทศไทย
สหรัฐฯควรจะดูแลทำความสะอาด านของตัวเอง ก่อนที่จะไปบังคับให้คนอื่นทำ
